Burials in the Victoria Cemetery, 1851 to 1852

Source: St John's Cathedral archives, item 35-25-04

At the beginning of 1852, the Revd James Smith, minister of the Scots Presbyterian Church, began to maintain a register of burials of his church members. This ran in parallel for a while with the entries made under his name in the St John's Church burial register. The policy changed at the beginning of 1858.
